Recipe Press, formerly known as Recipe Share, was originally created so that the plugin author, GrandSlambert, could share recipes with family and friends. He told a few people about what he was doing and they asked to use the plugin on their sites. On October 13th, 2009, the very first version was placed in the WordPress Plugin Repository, and that is when a simple plugin to share recipes became a quest to provide the best tool for sharing recipes, bar none.
There have been a lot of people asking questions and making suggestions for the plugin since it was first release. You can read about this and get support in the Recipe Press Support forum. I try to find time to work on this plugin every day, but working part time and going to school full time makes this somewhat difficult, but bare with me, it is going to be a fun ride!
